Guidelines: The following categories of online conduct are unacceptable membership standards.
Post outside these guidelines can and will be considered a violation of the BDL 'Ass Sets' Standards which will result in suspension and possible loss of membership:

Harassment...
Harassment occurs when a member insults, attacks, and degrades another member at any time.
BDL forums will have zero tolerance for anyone who takes an argument over topics posted to a personal level. For instance, the use of terms such as idiot, moron, stupid and other even more derogatory terms constitutes harassment. The idea is to make this a pleasant environment to discuss motorcycles, rides and charity events. This forum will NOT be used for personnel attacks or agenda’s against other members. This forum is not the place for schoolyard name-calling and rock-throwing. Repeated critical and sharply negative posts toward another forum member or Big Daddy Leather constitute harassment.

Disruption...
Posts which intend to disrupt the topic of conversation or steer the topic away from the focus of the forum and related news. Disruption can include harassment, multiple user profiles, multiple posting of the same post and posting completely off topic messages. Please do your best when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling. Excessive use of 'AOL-ese' and 'hAx0r' talk can be very disruptive so please keep it to a minimum.

Vulgarity...
As a community with a diverse variety of members and readers, we ask that our members post without using vulgarity. Vulgarity not only includes vulgar language and pictures but also sexist, racist, anti-religious and homophobic language which may offend other members. Any of the above mentioned postings will be deleted without notification to the posting member and the posting member’s account will be suspended until a resolution is reached.

Solicitation...
Post to silicate membership to other sites, items for sale, commercial services or other Motorcycle shops will be deleted if not approved prior to posting. You may attach a short link to your site within your profile or signature. An appropriate forum will be created for those who are selling motorcycles, riding gear, trailers, etc. This forum will not be a place for other leather shops to post links to their shop. Any links to dealers or other leather shops will be deleted without consulting poster.

Spamming...
Spamming is the multiple posting of an identical or similar post on one or more of our Forums. Spam is also flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Any of the above mentioned will be deleted and the posting members account will be suspended until a resolution is reached.

Copyrighted Material...
You may post links to appropriate articles but posting articles from other sources in their entirety is a violation of our Forum Guidelines. If you must repost quotes or sentences, please credit the source.
Please understand that this forum was created to help Big Daddy Leather spread the word about our charity events. BDL is providing this service to you our loyal customers at no cost to you. This site should be a great source of rest and relaxation, not to mention just a cool place to hang out, much like the Big Daddy Leather store itself.
